Product Description
A deceptively simple-looking tool, the BoWrench is a boon for both professional deck builders and do-it-yourselfers. The BoWench gives you a fast, one-person way to straighten decking boards. This is great, because decking material--whether redwood, cedar, or another, more exotic rot-resistant wood--is often warped, especially in 14- to 16-foot lengths. To operate the BoWrench, you simply fit the tool on a joist, swing the lever arm, and release. You can either push or pull boards into alignment, and when the handle is perpendicular, the tool locks in place, holding the board securely and leaving you free to drive nails or screws. The BoWrench is better than toe nailing. Burying nails in the sides of decking to close gaps works, but it gives water more ways to enter the decking, which eventually leads to rot. With the BoWrench, you'll save time, create a longer-lasting surface, and maximize material. Using the special cam attachment (sold separately), the BoWrench replaces the clumsy beater block as the best way to close gaps in tongue-and-groove plywood and paneling.

This is an amazing tool, and it was delivered in only a couple days. I was very impressed.
No longer is it necessary to spend all your time in the hardware store picking out boards. I just bought clean boards, but they were not perfect and had some warps. It takes no effort to straighten out the boards and you get to work hands free. This worked so well I called it "the stepson"

Do yourself a favor, but this tool for decking.

I would recommend the BoWrench to any one building a deck, I was building a 12 by 34 foot deck and was about 8 feet into putting the deck down when I found the Bowrench on Amazon.com, I paid for the next day shipping, and it was worth, finishing the rest of the deck was a breeze.

Cepco Bowrench is the BEST thing since PEANUT BUTTER was founded. I should had purchase one 2 years ago instead of using the bar and muscle method.

I wasn't sure this would be all that it was cracked up to be. I was reluctant to lay out the money. I feel it paid for itself on the first job through better productivity and less labor cost. Best new hand tool I have purchased in some time. It is versatile and easy to use. For the first time I could do deck treads by myself without all kinds of clamps and clutter in the way. Clever, simple design.

I'm building a 16'x14' deck on my house and I have no idea how I'd do it without this tool. Oddly enough I was looking for deck screws and saw this as one of those "if you like that you might like this". I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't seen it because up to that point I hadn't really thought about warped boards. I can't stress enough how easy this makes bending the boards into place. Since up to this point I've done most of the work myself, at times I've had to hold the tool with my leg while screwing the board down. Even while doing that, it's not too difficult. This is definitely a must have if you are building anything bigger than 4'x4'.
